1. Who We Are

CIL LLC ("we", "us") operates the GentlePod service at gentlepod.space and gentlepod.shop. We provide private AI workspace pods.

2. What We Collect

Account data: Email address, authentication provider (Google/Microsoft), and payment information processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card numbers.

Pod data: Everything you create on your pod stays on your pod. We do not access, read, or analyze your workspace content.

Technical data: Server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security and debugging. Retained for 30 days.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide and maintain the GentlePod service: account management, billing, pod provisioning, and transactional emails. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
Hetzner: Server hosting (EU data centers). Your pod runs on Hetzner infrastructure.
Postmark: Transactional emails (pod-ready notifications).
Google/Microsoft: OAuth login (only if you choose to sign in with these providers).
OpenAI: AI model provider. Conversations with AI agents are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI's data usage policies apply.

5. Data Location

Pods are hosted on Hetzner Cloud servers in the EU (Germany). Account and billing data is processed by Stripe (US, EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

6. Your Rights

You can export your workspace data at any time via the pod's download feature. To delete your account and all associated data, cancel your subscription and contact us at hello@gentlepod.space. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request (90-day retention period for pod data after subscription cancellation).

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication sessions. No tracking cookies, no analytics, no third-party cookies.
